As part of the renovation of the Melide-Grancia Tunnel on the A2 motorway, Pizzarotti SA has received the SÜGB certification of its concrete production plant for production controls: a big compliment goes to all the employees who have contributed to this important result.

Work is in full swing: the contract awarded to Pizzarotti SA includes the renovation of the tunnel including the two pipes by carrying out unscheduled maintenance work on the supporting structure and the renovation of the banquets.

The Melide-Grancia Tunnel is located on the A2 Mendrisio – Lugano Sud motorway section and consists of two 1727 m long tubes with a south-north track and a north-south track, each with a lane and an overtaking lane.
