N2 EP12 BELLINZONA LOT 201 MOTORWAY REHABILITATION WORK BEGINS
The main objective of the project is the rehabilitation of the motorway section in order to extend the service life of the road infrastructure from the point of view of both the structures and the hydraulic and electrical infrastructures.
Specifically, civil engineering works will be carried out, adaptation of safety barriers, carriageway crossings, road signs, the construction of a new network of channels to collect and evacuate platform water and transport it to new SABA treatment plants, a new BSA backbone on the S/N carriageway that will replace the existing one currently present on the central reservation, and the complete resurfacing of the road package: The latter on the N2 motorway will be carried out in class T6 while on the N2-N13 slip roads in class T5.
The aforementioned measures should guarantee a level of operation without the need for further extraordinary maintenance measures until the next UPlaNS.
