It will be the new headquarters of the Consulate General and the Italian Schools.
The contract provides for the renovation, restoration and functional adaptation of the state-owned building "Casa d'Italia", intended to house the Consulate General, the Cultural Institute, the Italian state schools and the Comites.
The "Casa d'Italia" - a historic 5,000 m2 building in the heart of Zurich dating back to 1919 - will also host a large and modern multipurpose room available for the organization of events.
The cost of the works amounts to over 14 million Swiss francs, the start of the construction site is scheduled for 2 September 2024 and the delivery of the new building is expected in 17 months.
