N2 EP12 Bellinzona Lotto 201

The highway rehabilitation works of the "N2 EP12 Bellinzona Lot 201", a project that PIZZAROTTI SA was awarded in JV with leading local companies including Mancini & Marti SA and Walo, has started.
 

The main objective of the intervention project, the rehabilitation of the highway section in order to extend the service life of the road infrastructure both from the point of view of the artifacts and the hydraulic and electrical infrastructure.

Specifically, civil engineering works will be implemented, adaptation of safety barriers, roadway crossings, road signage, construction of a new network of channels designed to collect and evacuate platform water and transport it to new SABA treatment plants, new BSA backbone on the S/N carriageway that will replace the existing one currently present on the traffic island, and the complete resurfacing of the road paving package: the last one as far as the N2 highway route is concerned will be carried out in class T6 while, on the N2-N13 slip roads in class T5. The aforementioned interventions should ensure a level of operation without the need to provide additional extraordinary maintenance measures until the next UPlaNS.
